The trap filtration of beer after the kieselguhr filter is a system that allows not to use a filter presses. In this system, filtration is carried out in a closed case with minimal loss of carbon dioxide without the contact of beer with air, preserving the taste of the drink. At the same time, product losses and labor intensity of the process are significantly reduced.
Benefits
Trap filtration is widely used in the EU countries and in Russia (including large beer corporations). It allows to significantly reduce the cost of consumables (in comparison with the filter carton) and the costs due to product losses.
The trap filtration system consists of a filter holder (see below) with a set of filter cartridges.

Filter housing of the DS type for liquid filtration
NPP Technofilter presents a series of filter holders of the DS type are made of stainless steel AISI 304 and AISI 316L.
The filter holder type (height and number of filter cartridges) is selected depending on the filtration.
