Filter holders for cartridge elements

Filter housings with filter cartridges inside are used to organize the industrial filtration process of liquid and gaseous media. The choice of brand and type of the filter housing depends on the volume, the type of medium to be filtered and the process requirements.

Filter housing materials

  • Polypropylene (GOST 263950-86) (DP).
  • Stainless steel AISI 304 with polished outer and inner surfaces (DS).
  • Stainless steel AISI 316L (DS).

Advantages of the stainless steel housing (DS)

  • can be used separately or mounted in the system;
  • easily disassembled and cleaned - autoclaved or processed by steam-in-line at temperature from 121 °C to 145 °C;
  • possibility of increasing the filter surface area by varying the number and height of the filter cartridges;
  • can be used in a cascade mode;
  • tightness and easy access for replacing the filter cartridges;
  • reliable sealing;
  • certified and approved for use in the medical and food industries.

Hygienic and sanitary-chemical washing of the filter housing

 Stainless steel filter housings (DS) can be subjected to any method of hygienic and sanitary-chemical treatment according to standard practice, including autoclaving and steaming. Polypropylene filter housing (DP) can be treated with hot water up to 80 °C or with 6 % hydrogen peroxide solution.

 Filter housings are installed permanently on the floor on legs, on a rigid frame or fixed using a special bracket to the wall. Connection of pipelines to the filter housing is carried out with a rope, muff or flange connection.

To replace the filter cartridge, it is necessary to leave a free space under (above) the bottom of the housing with a height not less than the length of the filter cartridge.
